How do credits work?
Each URL check or submission costs 1 credit. You have a single pool of credits you can use for any combination of Indexing and Index Checking.
Do credits expire?
Subscription credits roll over while your subscription stays active, capped at 2x your current monthly allotment. Pay-as-you-go credit packs never expire.
Can I upgrade or downgrade subscriptions later?
Yes! You can change plans anytime. When upgrading, you will be charged the difference between the two plans immediately and allotted the difference in credits immediately.
Your subscription credit bank rolls over while subscribed, capped at 2x your current plan's monthly allotment.
If you downgrade to a smaller plan, nothing changes until your monthly renewal. At that time, your subscription credit bank is capped to 2x the new plan's monthly allotment after that cycle's credits are issued.
If you cancel, unused subscription credits are forfeited when the subscription ends. Pay-as-you-go credits remain available.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit cards through Stripe's secure payment processing.
Can I request test credits?
New accounts do not receive credits automatically. If you need to validate the service before purchasing, test credits are available upon support request.
How do the pay-as-you-go credit packs work?
Pay-as-you-go credit packs are one-time purchases for users who do not want a monthly subscription. Those credits are added to your account immediately and do not expire.
Can I have a subscription and buy pay-as-you-go packs?
Yes. If you have both, IndexChex uses your subscription credits first and leaves your pay-as-you-go balance available afterward. Your pay-as-you-go credits stay in your account until you use them.
What happens if I run out of credits?
If you run out of credits, you will need to wait for your next subscription credit grant, upgrade your plan, or buy a pay-as-you-go pack before starting additional checks or submissions. New credits are applied to your account as soon as the purchase is completed.
What is your refund policy?
Because IndexChex is a digital service, we generally do not offer refunds. If you run into a billing issue or edge case, contact [email protected] so we can review it directly.
