How IndexChex measures its results
IndexChex publishes four performance figures. Each is an average from IndexChex's own measurements, run every week on recurring URL sets, and each is shown with the month it applies to.
Current figures
| Measure | Result | Applies to | As of |
|---|---|---|---|
| Time to first Googlebot crawl | Under 2 minutes on average | Standard and instant mode | October 2026 |
| Instant mode indexation | 95%+ within 5 to 10 minutes | Instant mode | October 2026 |
| Standard mode indexation | 85%+ | Typical sites, links and citations | October 2026 |
| Index checker accuracy | About 96% | Index check results | October 2026 |
How each figure is defined
Time to first crawl is the time from submission to the first Googlebot request for a URL, averaged across the measured URLs in both submission modes.
Indexation rate is the share of submitted URLs found in Google's index after the mode's window: 5 to 10 minutes for instant mode, and the standard job timeline for standard mode, where indexing typically settles by day 5 after a job completes.
Checker accuracy is the share of index check results that match the URL's actual index status.
Index check results
Every check looks the URL up in live Google search results rather than a cached database, and reports it as indexed or not indexed. A lookup that cannot complete is reported as failed rather than as not indexed, so a temporary error never reads as a missing page.
Google's results vary over time and between data centres, so no index check is perfect. That is why the checker's accuracy is published as a measured figure rather than assumed.
What the figures are not
- They are averages, not guarantees for any single URL or job. Indexing is always Google's decision.
- They are not broken down by link type or source site, and results for low-quality pages will be lower.
- They describe IndexChex only. Figures published by other tools use their own windows and definitions and aren't directly comparable.
Prices and limits
Prices, credit costs and job limits quoted anywhere by IndexChex come from the published price list and the product itself; the full list is on the about page. Corrections: [email protected].
